I collect Literature from times in my life in some hopes of needing some burst of inspiration. Increasingly bothersome the shuffle of printed material seems ecologically daunting in a digitally intense world.
There is something uniquely different in a scribbled side note of a lost notebook.
Inspired By: The Poem Written by Jenny Joesph
When I am an Old Woman
Cyber-Mortal woman tag decades of trends,
Which abbreviated # hashtag , emoji, or snap chat the decade did choose,
it doesn’t quite suit me.
I shall spend all my pension on I-Phones and Tablets, Each penny I’ll Blow of stupid Tech Gadgets
And satin embossed smartphone bedazzles, and say we’ve no money to drive out of state,
I shall post meme’s of sleeping cats when I’m tired
And gobble up Gi bits in e-shops and design custom alarm ringtones.
And run my Wi-Fi signal all day and all night long
And make up for the mistakes of my cyber-youth.
The digital slipper shocking my cyber foot,
As I digitally frolic in others cyber-ally mortal virtual space…..
